DetailsFOSSEE, IIT Bombay organized an event to introduce eSim. eSim is an Free and Open source EDA tool which offers similar capabilities and ease of use as any equivalent proprietary software for schematic creation, simulation and PCB design, without having to pay a huge amount of money to procure licenses. eSim is an alternative to commercially available/ licensed software like OrCAD, Xpedition and HSPICE. We organised a presentation followed by a demo of eSim in the event. All the participant were provided with the user manual of eSim and also the software package in the Cds
