FOSSEE Summer Fellowship 2022

FOSSEE Summer Fellowship is a regular fellowship activity conducted by the FOSSEE project during the summer break from May to July 2022. Through this Fellowship, we select students to work on different projects under FOSSEE and provide them with an opportunity to contribute to the open source community. The fellows can opt to work full-time (8 hours per day for minimum of 6 weeks) or part-time (6 hours per day for minimum of 8 weeks) based on their availability and academic commitments. The fellowship continued to be conducted remotely this year as well. Many students from different institutes across India participated remotely and contributed. At the end of the fellowship all students submitted a detailed report. This report was published on the FOSSEE website under open source and the fellows were awarded with a eCertificate. The link where his/her work is been published can be used by the fellows for any future employment, internship or higher studies. The statistics for this year is as follows:
